One of the main rally leaders, Thavorn Senniam, speaking at Democracy Monument a moment ago, said it might be 7pm or later before the marchers return. The marchers have reached the very long Issaraphap Road. A hour-long lunch break is expected at Wong Wian Yai.

Rally leader Suthep Thuagsuban stops for a while outside Suksanaree School, clearing enjoying the cheers of students watching from high above in their classrooms. Many of them hold signs saying "Su, Su" (Fight, fight).

The march left on time and the protesters are now leaving Memorial Bridge (Suphan Phut) and entering the Ban Khak area of Thonburi.
