Edible art or art you can eat is all the rage nowadays.
Lee Samantha, famous from the food art she shares on her Facebook page here , creates mini works of art on the dinner plate featuring brightly coloured vegetables in fun shapes to appeal to children and get them to eat those vegetables they refuse to eat. A zombie pancake, one of the more remarkable and scary creations, perfect for Halloween which is quickly approaching.
He is also a science teacher, so a lot of his works of pancake art have science themes such as portraits of famous scientists and mathematicians ranging from Einstein to Leonardo Da Vinci to Gauss or Kepler or galleries of different kinds of sea animals rendered in the different shades of brown of a delicious pancake.
Different species of fish, sharks, trees and even beetles are all on display to spark scientific curiousity and interest in pancake loving kids.
As Halloween nears skeletons, zombies, characters from the movie The Hobbit, and even Darth Vader drawn with contrasting brown and white sugar are featured among the artist's creations.
