A Thai surrogate mother implored anyone thinking of surrogacy to become aware of the possible (negative) consequences as in the case of Nong Gammy, for example.
In the case of (news reports of) an Australian husband and wife who hired a Thai woman from Chon Buri to become pregnant, or what is known as "surrogacy", with twins – a boy and a girl, but it turned out the boy was born with Down’s Syndrome, causing the Australian family to reject him and abandon him to the care of the surrogate mother.
In the latest development, the Thai surrogate mother gave an interview to the media regarding the incident, in the hope of warning anyone thinking of becoming a surrogate mother to think it over before agreeing to do so. (She) also said, “(If you) can choose, it is better not do it.”
