ROBOT SCIENCE & RELATIONSHIPS
Marry a robot of your own creation: China 4.0
After failing to find a human wife, one Chinese bachelor has decided to throw in the towel and grab the bull by the horn.
Being a robot scientist, instead of remaining celibate for his entire life, he did what any red-blooded robot scientist might be expected to do, he married a robot of his own creation.
Robot engineer and robot wife striking a pose, the envy of everyone.
Zheng Jiajia, 31, a computer scientist specialising in artificial intelligence (AI) and robot design lives in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, had already created his robot at the end of last year, so she was kind of waiting for him.
The robot is cutely named Ying Ying and she can read a few words and say a few simple things.
The technology enabling robot wives has been progressing quite rapidly in China as the video below clearly shows:
UPGRADES MEAN NOT STUCK WITH WHAT YOU GOT
Lack of skills or communication is actually nothing to worry about, because a robot scientist can always upgrade his robot wife adding functionality as needed.
Zheng is already working on an upgrade his machine wife to make her capable of walking and carrying out simple but boring household chores.

Zheng and his robot wife were married in a simple ceremony on Friday attended by robot scientist Zheng, his mother and some friends.
A friend of the robot scientist confided with a reporter from a Chinese newspaper that Zheng had been frustrated after failing to find a girlfriend.
It may all sound a little sexist, until one realises that women can do this too and might gain even more than men from the arrangement.
There is nothing preventing a female robot scientists from creating a robot husband and teaching him to wash the dishes and iron the clothes, or even chop the wood and go out to make a living.
Stimulating dinner dates matching opposite gender human-robot pairs might be quite exciting.
