Noon update: Reports and photos are coming in from twitter that it is raining heavily in the area again. Radar shows a very slow-moving, but relatively small area of rain in that part of Bangkok.

As most areas in the capital recovered from the recent drenching downpours, a community in Bang Khen district has been forced to live with floodwater for at least three full days.
As of yesterday, all 180 houses in Soi Ramintra 34 were still flooded after the district suffered an unusually heavy downpour that struck right across Bangkok in the early hours of Tuesday. After three hours of heavy rain, the water level in the soi off Ramintra main road rose sharply, and yesterday was still 50 centimetres high, forcing people to leave their cars at home.
City workers faced a major drainage task.
The situation reminded Arom Hinsui of the great floods of 2011 when her house in Thong Satit housing estate was badly damaged.
An elderly residents scoops up a goldfish, likely owned by one of his neighbours.
The impact of the present flood does not compare with the big one five years ago, but the two events share one thing in common for her.
"All of us in the house were not aware that the water would come so fast," said Mrs Arom, who works for the Expressway Authority of Thailand. "I have had to take annual leave to look after my house with this flooding because I am worried that more rain will come and make it worse."
Daoprakai Mongkol, a maid living in the same area, said she bought a new car two weeks ago only to find it damaged due to the high water level.
"I don't need anything else except that agencies concerned come here to drain the water," she said.
The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration knew their plight and Bangkok governor MR Sukhumbhand Patibatra and City Hall officials were on a pickup truck on Wednesday to inspect the situation.
About 10 soldiers from the 11th Infantry Regiment King's Guard used military trucks and boats to help them get to the outside world until the situation returns to normal.
A car in Soi Ramintra 34 is stranded in the water as floods hit the area in Bang Khen district.
Sompong Wiengkaew, director of the Drainage and Sewerage Department, said BMA workers had been ordered by the governor to drain the soi by Thursday.
A problem was the soi was located in a very low area, making it vulnerable to flooding, the official added.
