Doctors say they will wait for additional updates until there has been a significant change in his condition.

Concern over Por's irregular heartbeat

Actor Tridsadee "Por" Sahawong, admitted to Ramathibodi Hospital last Monday with dengue fever, now suffers from an irregular heartbeat that is becoming increasingly difficult to control, the hospital says.

The actor, who is in critical condition, is being given medication to control his heartbeat and has intermittent low blood pressure, which requires a high dose of stimulants.

Tridsadee's acute renal failure and liver function are unchanged, the hospital said in the latest update on his condition.

The Channel 3 actor is still being administered with antibiotics and nutrients. He continues to receive blood and blood components and is undergoing dialysis treatment.

The hospital said he is being monitored carefully in the hospital's coronary care unit (CCU). Doctors say it is too early to offer a more definitive prognosis.
