Luxury doghouse costs one million baht

After exercising on his treadmill, your dog can feed & bathe himself, look at photos of dog friends, then curl up on paw print pillows & watch a movie.

LUXURY & DOGS

$30,000 luxury dog house

We were tasked with designing and building the dog kennel of the future for Samsung as part of their sponsorship of the Crufts event [biggest dog show in the world in UK, see here] this year at the NEC.

The curved shapes and the softness of the materials give it a modern and futuristic look and feel.

And there is a series of props that go alongside the kennel, one of which is a treadmill and the center of the treadmill is covered with a strip of turf, so it reminds him of the outdoors.

There is also a hydro-therapy pool which is for rejuvenation when he's been out on his long walks on the treadmill and an automated feeder, which at the press of a button, he can feed himself

We obviously needed to make sure the environment was completely safe for any dog that might be in there.

It's quite a natural shape for a dog to curl up into.

To create more of a luxury and homey feeling, we've introduced a vinal wrap wallpaper.

This is coupled with a series of different images of dogs.

Now, the rear kennel, which is more for chill out, has got its own Samsung tablet and it's luxury upholstered with paw print pillows and velure fabric.

You can visit the Samsung Dream Doghouse on the Samsung stand at Crufts 2015.
