Dr "Boom"
Pannada "Boom" Wongphudee is a former Miss Thailand (2000), an actress, a TV personality, a model, a lecturer, an advertiser and, as of yesterday, she has added a another title to her résumé: Doctor of Business Administration.
It took the busy celebrity seven years to finish, but yesterday she received her PhD from Rangsit University.
How did she manage to get such an advanced degree with her jam-packed schedule?
"Because I'm diligent," she told Post Today. "Because I know how to manage my time and I have responsibility. Because I'm afraid of growing older – stars are always in the limelight and their fame is uncertain ... and I'm not stupid."
To her critics, she had this challenge. "Try it yourself if you think it's easy."
Dr Pannada wasn't the only celebrity receiving a degree from Rangsit University yesterday. Soap opera superstar Nadech Kugimiya received his Bachelor of Arts (Communication Arts) degree.
Soap opera fans were focused on another famous star who received his Bachelor of Arts (Communication Arts) degree from Rangsit University yesterday. He, of course, is Nadech Kugimiya and, of course, his famous co-star Urassaya "YaYa" Sperbund was there to congratulate him.
Dr Pannada says that the new graduate told her that he is planning to continue on for his masters' degree in the same area.
She said on her Instragram page that she is very pleased for him. "He's not only handsome with a good disposition but he is determined to succeed in his work and his studies. A real superstar!"
